Dreaming; Night of

2I had a dream that I felt like I'd had several times before in my life—at least the last part of the dream. In the first part, it was a Star Trek dream with me as Kirk. We went to this great place that I think may have been supposed to be Percy Quinn State Park where we met our neighbors. One was great. I think at this point I was with my family. Things happened, and we had to go through these catacombs (man-made) where there were many live alligators with their mouths tied closed. Then I got separated and had to worm my way through a tunnel that was about as wide as I was, but had little scenes off to the side through screens like a haunted house or Disney World. Later, it was the Star Trek part. We went to an 11 story building and a bunch of us got in an elevator that went up through empty space to the top. We got to the top, but it malfunctioned, and began banging into the side walls and going up and down. When it reached its lowest point, I jumped off and fell, dazed, to the ground. Later, and this is the part I felt I'd had before, I was alone with one other. I made my way through some woods and a small town to a certain house. I knew that here lived someone I'd known when I was very young. I went inside—no one was there—and into a closet. I then, as I knew I'd done before every so often throughout my life, started taking a few objects—comics, rocks, etc. Then we left. Else. (G) |
